Did you have to stay after hours and guests are on their way? Or have friends dropped in for an unannounced visit? Great snacks have already saved many a party. A few moments and a handful of culinary inspiration are all it takes to turn your table into a deliciously colourful buffet. Just a few more kitchen serving accessories and we're ready to go!

Not just Crisps

Crisps, popcorn, salty sticks - these are great snacks if you are going to the cinema or having a kinder party. If you are hosting guests, it's not a good idea to serve them a snack from a bag. This doesn't mean we have to spend the whole afternoon cooking. It only takes a few minutes to prepare delicious and healthy starters. Swap crackers for a plate of aromatic cold cuts and serve them with a spicy dip in a separate dip bowl. Instead of crisps, put a bowl of nuts on the table, either salted or in sweet caramel. Olives are also ideal. Add some spicy peppers or pickled onions. Simple solutions are often the best! Make a quick salad too. Serve it with croutons made from your favourite bread - they take no more than ten minutes to make. Finish with a few drops of olive oil and some parsley for decoration. These snacks are not only perfect for a party. They can also be enjoyed in the evening with a book or while watching your favourite movie. Served in beautiful bowls and salad bowls, they will look really tasty!

Spanish tapas

If history is to be believed, the famous tapas was originally a slice of ham to protect a jug of wine from sand and flying insects. However, the Spanish quickly picked up on the fact that the beverage could be drunk and the useful cover consumed. Thus, the custom of serving small snacks. Today, we are also happy to serve them at our tables. Small sandwiches, mini-sandwiches or a potato tortilla with chorizo. Whether you prepare them hot or cold, they taste great either way. They can be a little something in between big meals but are also perfect as a main course. Are you dreaming of sunny Valencia? Or perhaps delightful Barcelona? Come to the table! Serve imaginative side dishes on stylish trays, complemented by lovely snack accessories.

French elegance - a board full of cheese

Cheese is a popular snack, not only in the countryside near the Seine. It is also increasingly common in other countries. A cheese board full of aromatic varieties is a perfect idea for a party or a movie evening. Which cheeses to choose? If we want to go on a culinary journey to France, then let's leave the traditional Gouda for breakfast. Let's reach for Camembert, Brie and Roquefort - choose a minimum of three varieties. There is of course no upper limit, the more cheeses, the more interesting! It's worth remembering to choose the right cheese knives - a separate one for each, so as not to mix flavours. Serve the cheeses with bread, French baguette of course being ideal. Alternatively, serve with walnuts or grapes. A glass of wine is a must, and the evening is sure to be a success. Bon appétit!
