Taschen

Taschen is a German publishing house founded in 1980 in Cologne by Benedikt Taschen. It is the world's largest seller of books on art, architecture, design, photography, etc. Benedikt Taschen founded the publishing house in 1980, but it was not until 1985 that art books were included in the brand's range. In 1986, Angelika Herbert joined Taschen as an editor. Together with Benedikt Taschen, she turned the publishing house into a global brand with sales of 20 million books each and now has its own showrooms - Taschen Bookstores - in countries all over the world. All books in the publisher's range are characterised by beautiful illustrations, high quality and value for money.
