Kay Bojesen is a legend of Danish design. A goldsmith by education, he discovered his passion for creating forms from wood only at the age of 50. He created animals which, despite the material from which they were made, were delicate, had rounded shapes and lay well in hand - and were extremely nice. The wooden monkey even went to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and is still considered a classic of Danish design.
