All decent pineapple punchers have a similar design. Their shaft is a sharply pointed tube with which the woody centre of the fruit can be punched out. Embedded on the stem is a blade that slices the flesh into a spiral of slice thickness. Sounds brilliant, doesn't it? That's why it's hard to call this pineapple peeler an ordinary peeler.
