Wooden clocks from the NeXtime brand catalogue are characterised by elegance and clean lines, and although each of the dials in the Wood collection is unique in design, they are united by the care taken in their manufacture and the visible texture of the material from which they are made.
The Dreamcatcher clock presented here is a 'feathered' version of the wooden Dream catcher from NeXtime. The appearance of the dial was inspired by an amulet of some North American Indian tribes - nets woven by mothers for their children and decorated with feathers. The dense net was supposed to let only good dreams pass through and stop nightmares, which would get caught in the net and run down the feathers with the first rays of the sun. Three feathers, in a colour harmonising with that of the hands, hang freely to guarantee a peaceful night's sleep. The clock, including the feathers, is 41 cm high.
