Essential accessories for preparing a homemade jam

Making a homemade gift jam will not be possible if you do not buy jars and accessories for preserves. Here's a list of things you need.

  1. Jars for preserves - home preserves will look beautiful if you put them in decorative wecks. We can choose between Weck jars and Kilner ones.
  2. Jar labels - a lovely gift will take on a unique and personal character, if we write down our wishes on it. To do that, it's worthwhile to equip ourselves with decorative, self-adhesive labels, on which, in addition to a few warm words addressed to the birthday boy, we can also include a description of the product inside the jar and the date of its production.
  3. Pitters - are irreplaceable when preparing cherry or apple jam. With its help we will remove the seeds quickly and conveniently from a variety of fruits.
  4. Jar funnel - thanks to a specially designed funnel equipped with a wide opening, pouring jams from the pot into jars will never be a problem again.
  5. Jam pot - the wide diameter of the pot allows rapid evaporation of the water and obtaining the desired consistency of the jam. It also prevents the sticking and burning of home preserves.
  6. Jar Gripper - an irreplaceable gadget when pasteurizing jars, allowing you to safely remove hot jars from the pot.
