The Colombina cutlery collection - a series that has been present in the Alessi brand's catalogue for years - has been extended in 2015 with the Colombina Fish line of cutlery dedicated to fish and seafood. This new 'nautical' chapter in the brand's history is characterised by a beautiful setting in the form of delicate scales decorating the handles of the cutlery included in the collection. The specialised utensils have been designed in collaboration with culinary expert Alberto Gozzi, whose invaluable contribution has led to cutlery that is not only beautiful but also perfect for a table full of fish, crabs, shrimps, oysters and clams, and both at home and in the most exquisite restaurants. The cutlery in the collection is made of 18/10 stainless steel.
The shellfish opener presented here, made of polished steel with a mirror effect, proves that the designers of the Fish series, have not forgotten the necessary accessories and details. The decorative texture of the handle, links the 'shellcracker' presented here to the other tools in the collection.
