Birds 1967 is a vibrant collection of wooden birds designed by the legendary Swedish ceramist Lisa Larson during her time in California – right in the heart of the Flower Power era. Inspired by Mexican folk art, the counterculture of the 60s, and the sheer joy of life, these birds were born as a personal experiment for the artist, far removed from her daily work with ceramics. After years of being tucked away and forgotten, these colorful and free-spirited designs were rediscovered in her studio and brought back to life by Design House Stockholm. Today, they're soaring once more – a living manifesto of creativity, freedom, and the spirit of an era that dared to dream of a better world.
