Product description
Description
An innovative tool to check the potential of tasted wine. Does it have a chance to develop properly? Is it worth preserving so that it can develop a more mature, fuller flavour? Dip the Peugeot key into a glass of wine and find out now.
Main features:
- The Peugeot wine key was created by Franck Thomas (sommelier) and Laurent Zanon (chemist).
- Its purpose is to measure the potential of wine stored in the right conditions.
- The key accelerates the oxidation of the liquor - it acts as a catalyst. It immediately changes its taste and aroma, making it more mature.
- Using the key is very simple. First, pour 100 ml of wine into a glass, then taste it and remember your impressions. Then dip the key into it for as many seconds as the number of years you want to age your beverage by. One second equals one year. After tasting the wine and assessing its taste, the key can be dipped into it again to age it by more years - the result is cumulative. In this way, you can quickly assess whether the wine is worth continuing to store by allowing it to age further.
How to use:
- The Peugeot key is used to simulate the ageing process of wine. This process is irreversible.
- The tool is suitable for any wine: white, red, rosé or sparkling.
Materials used:
- The product is made of a special aluminium and copper alloy.
Good to know!
- The key has been patented. Work on its invention took as long as 10 years.
