When the Villeroy & Boch brand was just being established (that is, almost 270 years ago), one of its characteristic and most coveted designs was the so-called French "Brindille" motif. Tableware with delicate blue branches painted in a subtle line is still very popular with brand aficionados today. The dinnerware in this style has always been referred to as "Luxembourg style". - hence the name of the collection, which combines the past with the present in an extremely elegant way.
