A sugar bowl forming part of a series created around two classic products from the Italian 'dream factory' designed by the famous architect Aldo Rossi - the Il Conico kettle and the La Conica coffee brewer.
The designer's distinctive style is revealed in the use of simple geometric shapes in the design, how fitting for the cool shiny surface of polished steel. The cylindrical shape of the vessel is topped with a semicircular dome fitted with a steel ball that acts as a handle. The sugar bowl is accompanied by a teaspoon with an extremely simple form that perfectly emphasises the character of the sugar bowl.
A very elegant object that will present its full charm in the company of other products created by Aldo Rossi for Officina Alessi.
