Gold for the bold
The golden elements perfectly match the rich Christmas decorations. Royal maroon, deep green, pure white - these are the colours which, accompanied by gold, give the best of themselves.
Gold cutlery will not necessarily work during breakfast on a holiday morning, but on Christmas Eve - of course it will. Celebratory meals are also a great occasion to use napkin rings. Golden napkin rings are a real cherry on the cake of a festive table arrangement. Don't forget that you can only put cloth napkins in them!
Christmas is one of the few occasions when amateurs of gold accessories can afford to go crazy and make the Christmas table shine like an open treasure chest.

When less is more
On the other hand, this proposal for arranging a festive table is at the other end of the scale. The shimmering gold is replaced by unwavering whiteness, baroque cutlery covered with patina turns into simple brushed steel cutlery, and rich ornamentation gives its way to minimalism. If you care about a truly ascetic table arrangement, put on a white tablecloth (or alternatively a gray one). The tablecloth is an element which connects the whole table setting, the final effect will depend on its appearance.
It is also worth remembering that these suggestions are so universal and classic that they will be a great base for your individual festive table arrangement - all the ideas that come to your mind - even the craziest ones.

If you don't like changes and experimentation, especially at such an important time as Christmas, then go for a tested Christmas design. What is its basis? Warm, deep colours of red and green, metallic accessories and ornaments, classic design in the form of squat Advent candles, tiny angel figurines, fragrant reeds...

What to avoid when setting up a festive table?
If you care about a unique setting of the festive table - elegant and impressive - rather go for the material napkins, not the paper ones, and choose napkin rings, instead of napkin holders. It would probably not be an exaggeration to say that coloured paper napkins in napkin holders will work better on the garden table during the holidays than at the Easter breakfast!
Classics of the genre
Looking for traditional solutions in the arrangement of the festive table, one cannot forget about the porcelain tableware, which is a beauty in itself.
If classic design is closest to your heart, go for a timeless whiteness. It will be perfectly accompanied by all kinds of accessories - both coloured napkins, dark tablecloth, as well as gold cutlery or crystal glasses.
To keep an elegant table for longer, put on a stain-resistant tablecloth. You will be able to use it for breakfast and lunch, maybe even two days in a row :)
