How to prepare and serve New Year's Eve drinks

"At a guess" -  we don't recommend it!

Before we even start looking for the original recipes, let's get our drink accessories together. Even an amateur bartender should have a professional bar measure. Adding ingredients 'at a guess' would probably make the drinks taste completely different than it should. What's worse, if we accidentally change proportions and exaggerate with the amount of fiery water, the New Year's Eve party may end up for someone a bit early. A reliable shaker equipped with a precise measure allows us to prepare perfect cocktails. Its elegant appearance will also make even the most modest bar gain an unusual style.

Not so ordinary shot glasses and decorative cocktail glasses

Party drinks do not require multi-coloured or fancy shaped glasses. If you have simple long glasses at home - use them! They are perfect for most drinks. The New Year's Eve party must also include champagne glasses so that guests can make a great New Year's toast!

To mix your cocktails thoroughly and then enjoy its full flavour, use a spoon or functional cocktail mixers designed for this purpose. The playful shape and distinctive colours will surely delight your guests.

Coloured layers - drinks for the brave

A drink consisting of several colourful layers will certainly make an impression! But let's remember that they're ruled by the laws of physics, so we can't just pour everything we've got into the glass.

First of all, the ingredients we use must differ in density. Colourful syrups, liqueurs and heavy cream will work perfectly. The densest of them should be poured to the glass first - they go to the bottom. Pour the next ones slowly and carefully, preferably on the walls of the glass. We can also equip ourselves with a practical funnel, which will make our task much easier. Thanks to this funnel we will precisely measure the next layers and then efficiently place them in the glass.

Let's choose the colours of individual ingredients by means of contrast - the more colourful the better! We wish you a lot of fun while preparing them!
