Kusmi teas are perfectly suited for long, chilly winter evenings – that’s a universally acknowledged fact. But their magic also works wonders in the scorching summer heat. A colourful drink made with iced Kusmi tea can truly sweep you off your feet!

Iced tea in three steps

Kusmi certainly knows how to beat the summer heat. The foundation of their cocktails is iced tea – the colder, the better! Is making iced tea a challenge? Kusmi proves that nothing could be simpler. Traditional iced tea can be prepared in three quick steps.

1. Pour boiling water over your favourite Kusmi tea. It’s best to use a special iced tea jug for this.

2. For the next 7 minutes, you’ll need to exercise a bit of patience – the infusion needs time to develop its aroma!

3. Remove the tea bag or infuser and set the finished tea aside to cool. Once cooled, add a generous helping of ice. Ideally, straight from a fancy ice cube tray.

Voilà! Your iced tea is ready to come to the rescue in the hottest weather.

Evening creation

Thankfully, the sun eventually stops beating down. In the evening, as dusk falls and going outside no longer risks sunstroke, iced tea takes centre stage once more!

Blue Detox

Blue Detox is an exotic drink that’s perfect for an evening garden party. It’s based on Kusmi’s Blue Detox tea – an aromatic blend of mate, green tea, and pineapple.

You’ll certainly find cocktail accessories useful for preparing these cocktails.

Recipe for one glass of Blue Detox

A good shaker will make preparing this drink a breeze. Pour the following into it:

  • 8 cL of chilled Blue Detox tea
  • 4 cL of dark rum
  • 1 cL of Cointreau liqueur

Don’t just eyeball it! Equip yourself with a bar measure.

Additionally:

  • passion fruit seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of liquid honey
  • 4 large ice cubes

Now... close the shaker and give it a good shake for a few seconds. Blue Detox is best served in longdrink glasses.

Soft Blue Detox

If you fancy a non-alcoholic drink, replace the rum and Cointreau with 12 cL of tea instead.

Kusmi Lady
