Brabantia is a company with family roots and nearly a century of tradition. At the end of the last century, it conquered the European market and still leads in the sale of kitchen and bathroom accessories. It has earned the trust of many satisfied customers by creating durable, robust and reliable products. Today, we would like to introduce it to you as well.
The Brabantia brand was established in 1919 in the small Dutch town of Aalst (province of Brabant). It was created by a group of fifteen people brought together by family ties and a passion for creating beautiful and useful things. Under their original name - Van Elderen & Co - they started their business by producing jugs, funnels and sieves.
Jugs, radios and milk cans....
The breakthrough came in 1930, when the company, working on behalf of the now world-famous Philips brand, produced housings for radio sets. During the war, it suspended its activities, only to return to the market at the beginning of 1945. Interestingly, at that time it was mainly involved in recycling condensed milk cans....

The year 1955 proved to be another turning point, with the first production of the now popular pedal bins and, in 1970, of the iconic Partice design. The following years brought the long-awaited changes: investment in advertising and expansion of sales throughout Europe. And in 1999, baskets with Touch Bin technology were launched - today one of the most recognisable products under the Brabantia logo.
The main distinguishing feature of today's Brabantia baskets is their appearance! The brand proves that the basket not only fulfils its function, but also looks great, in line with the brand's "Make Waste Beautiful" idea!

In 1985, the brand entered the market with a kitchen accessory it had designed, including a corkscrew - it was a hit. Today, the number of units sold can be counted in the millions.
Brabantia products are certified by the European Union.
As the company progressed, so did its environmental awareness, and in 2006 it began using solar energy in its factories. Receiving the Cradle to Cradle certification unleashed a machine of positive developments - Brabantia became an official partner of WeForest, The Ocean Cleanup and Plastic Whale. It also became a proud sponsor of the Hunger Project. And this is certainly just the beginning!

When talking about the Brabantia brand, it is impossible to avoid the topic of the brand's bread bins, which are widely known and loved. They are known for their sturdiness and reliability, are available in many interesting colours and, most importantly, their watertightness is very high.
Equally popular are the Brabantia containers, which work especially well for storing food, but not only. They usually have a practical window through which you can see the level of their contents. They are leak-proof and robust, and the wide choice of colours means that they can fit into any kitchen.
The brand's mission is to create things that are beautiful and useful at the same time. It offers products characterised by simplicity and functionality that make everyday life easier. These include waste baskets, functional ironing boards, stylish accessories for the bathroom and kitchen, laundry baskets and clothes dryers.

The reliability of the products is confirmed by the manufacturer's 10-year guarantee. The wide range of forms and colour variants makes it possible to choose a model that perfectly matches the interior design and individual requirements. Top designers have ensured that Brabantia products are not only useful, but also pleasant to use.
