Fire and water. Flow collection inspired by the elements
The Holmegaard Flow collection is a proof that the elements do not have to fight each other. Sometimes they join forces, and then a completely new phenomenon is created, distinguished by its above-average beauty...

It is difficult to control the fire, and it also takes a lot of effort to control the water. This is why the Flow collection deserves special attention - its creators have managed to reconcile both elements and create a whole new quality.
Holmegaard Flow candlesticks are inspired by water, a liquid element that is elusive, changeable and constantly moving. The flame dancing behind the glass provides a breathtaking spectacle in which extraordinary visual effects play the first fiddle.
Circles on water
For the designer of the Flow collection, Marion Fortat, it was important to show a completely new face of glass, a natural material, which, although distinguished by its timeless beauty and extraordinary plasticity, has been marked by a trace of commonness. As it turns out - it is completely wrong!
A pebble thrown into the water destroys the smooth, even glass surface of the lake; and then perfectly symmetrical circles are formed. These circles have become the inspiration for Marion Fortat. Admiring the Flow collection, one cannot avoid associations with water, an element that has many faces. In this case it is extremely delicate and subtle.
What should you know about the Flow collection?
Flow collection consists of four colour schemes (one of them is a clear, completely transparent glass). These are tealight candlesticks. One of the candle holders is the base for a high, classic candle.
Flow candlesticks are made of blown glass - a material that contributes to a completely new product each time, with unique features, even if it is the next representative of a particular model. Due to the nature of the inflatable glass, the Flow glass candle holder series is not dishwasher safe.
