The sun, a gentle breeze, and blooming plants all around just beckon you to spend time outdoors. So, it's worth taking advantage of the favourable weather conditions, spending your free time alfresco, for example, with a BBQ! As it turns out, a BBQ isn't just a perfect idea for meat-eaters. Today, we're presenting snacks that also work wonderfully for vegetarians – and what's more, they're quick and easy to prepare.
Especially in spring and summer, you'll find delicious, juicy tomatoes in the shops. It's worth making the most of them and creating some quick snacks that will appeal to both meat lovers and greenery enthusiasts alike.
- 5 tomatoes
- 1 pack of feta cheese
- A handful of pine nuts
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of your favourite herbs, such as basil and oregano
First, wash the tomatoes, cut off the tops, and dice them. Scoop out the pulp from the rest of the tomatoes. In a bowl, mash the feta cheese with a fork. Then add the diced tomatoes and the peeled, grated garlic cloves. Mix everything together, then add the herbs and pine nuts. Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out tomatoes and wrap each one individually in aluminium foil. Grill for about 20 minutes, and soon enough, you'll be tucking into these delicious tomatoes.

Of course, we haven't forgotten about meaty delights, and there are truly many ways to prepare them. Wrapping vegetables in meat is a very simple yet impressive way to make BBQ snacks. This way, you can prepare asparagus with Parma ham, for example.
- 30 green asparagus spears
- 30 slices of Parma ham
- 2 tablespoons of clarified butter
Rinse the asparagus, snap off and discard the woody ends. Peel the stalks 1/4 of the way up from the bottom. Grease them with butter and wrap them in ham. Place the prepared asparagus on the grill rack – grill until the ham is nicely browned. This snack tastes absolutely perfect with a crunchy baguette!

Another treat for a family gathering could be grilled aubergines, which not only look beautiful but taste even better.
- 3 aubergines
- 4/5 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 5 tablespoons of grated hard cheese
- 2 tablespoons of your favourite herbs
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil
Wash the aubergines and slice them lengthwise into approximately 1-centimetre thick pieces. Season with salt to taste and your favourite herbs. Grill for 15 minutes on an oiled rack, and meanwhile, combine the chopped garlic with the cheese, breadcrumbs, and 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Remove the aubergines from the grill and spread the prepared coating on the un-grilled side. Grill them until the cheese turns golden. We guarantee the final result will satisfy even the pickiest eaters.

A BBQ hit!
We value quick 5-minute snacks, which is why potatoes wrapped in bacon are also proving to be a BBQ hit.
- 8 small new potatoes, preferably not too large
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 tablespoon of marjoram
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Toothpicks
First, thoroughly wash the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until almost tender. Once removed, toss them in the previously prepared spices. Finally, wrap each potato in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Grill until the bacon is clearly browned. This is a truly quick dish that, once prepared, will become a regular feature.

Grilled snacks...
...are something you can truly fall in love with. You certainly won't walk past pears on crispy toast without a second glance – it's simply a taste of heaven! This dish is so impressive that it's worth using special accessories for snacks, such as a wooden serving board.
- 4 fresh pears
- 2 baguettes
- A handful of rocket or your favourite lettuce
- 80g of blue cheese
- A handful of cashew nuts
- 10 tablespoons of olive oil
- Wine vinegar
- 2 cloves of garlic
- BBQ seasoning to taste
Peel the pears, remove the cores, and then cut them into eighths. Combine about 2 tablespoons of olive oil with BBQ seasoning. Place the pears in this marinade for a few minutes. Then spread them out on a hot grill rack and grill for about 6-8 minutes. Cut the baguette diagonally to create slices, roughly two centimetres thick. Add chopped garlic to the remaining olive oil, then brush both sides of the baguette slices with it. Finally, arrange a portion of rocket or other lettuce, grilled pear, and crumbled blue cheese on each baguette slice. This prepared snack is ready to be placed on the grill for about 5 minutes. However, it needs to be closely monitored, as baguettes can easily burn. Once ready, remove from the grill and sprinkle with the previously crushed nuts.
Traditional skewers feature at almost every BBQ and enjoy great popularity for good reason. Now you can surprise your guests even more by preparing mini skewers with juicy, aromatic pineapple.
- 4 single chicken breasts
- 1/2 a pineapple
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2.5 teaspoons of thyme
- Salt to taste
- 1/3 olive oil
- Wooden skewers
First, rinse the chicken breasts, pat them dry, and trim off any fatty parts and bones. Cut the meat into pieces (about 3 cm). Add salt and thyme to the olive oil – then add the meat to the marinade and mix. It's best to let it sit for a while, and in the meantime, dice the pineapple and bell peppers. Cut the skewers in half and thread the ingredients alternately – pineapple, then pepper, then chicken breast. Grill until the meat is cooked through. These mini skewers are perfect grilled snacks that can be enjoyed without cutlery.

Everyone knows them well, but not necessarily in such a tasty form! Prepare grilled carrots and surprise your loved ones with your ingenuity.
- 6 carrots, preferably young ones
- Natural cream cheese
- 2 bunches of dill
- A handful of your favourite spices
- Salt and pepper to taste
First, boil water with a pinch of salt. Place the peeled carrots in the pot and cook until tender. Mix the cream cheese with the chopped dill and add spices to taste: pepper, salt, and your chosen herbs. Cut the carrots in half and top them with the previously prepared cream cheese. Even the youngest will love this snack!

Picnics and BBQs are events where our recommended dish – sausages with fried onion – cannot be missed! Skewered with a toothpick, they can make for a truly tasty and quick snack.
- 500g BBQ sausage, for example, Silesian sausage
- 2 onions
- 40g breadcrumbs
- 40g Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
- BBQ seasoning
Score the sausages along their entire length, then sprinkle with BBQ seasoning. Slice the onions into small pieces and fry them in a pan – season to taste as well. Once the filling has cooled slightly, place it inside the scored sausages and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs mixed with cheese. Grill these snacks for about 30 minutes. You'll have to wait a little for the final result, but the preparation itself is really low-maintenance, and after all, without sausages... there's no real BBQ!
When you're really short on time, grilled Camembert cheese turns out to be the perfect snack. You don't need to prepare anything beforehand; just buy the selected products. You can also look for snack bowls, in which every dish looks exquisite.
- One round of Camembert cheese
- Plum preserve
- A few cashew nuts
- Wine vinegar for drizzling
Place the Camembert cheese round on the grill rack and grill for a few minutes – just until the cheese is melted in the middle. Place the cooked cheese on a plate, with a few spoonfuls of preserve next to it – sprinkle everything with the previously crushed cashew nuts. Finally, drizzle the whole thing with wine vinegar. We guarantee that this prepared cheese simply melts in your mouth.
