Designed by Tapio Wirkkala, the Ultima Thule series is a heavy, elegant proposition that would be perfect for richly decorated interiors. Ultima Thule is the Latin name sometimes used to refer to Greenland. The decoration of the collection's elements refers to this fact, evoking the motif of water and ice. The extremely striking decoration is the result of methods developed over the years. The glass is cast in wooden moulds, thanks to which the elements of the collection differ in texture - this changes as the moulds are fired through the heated glass. Presented here, the elegant, chic jug from the collection is a small vessel for serving water, juices, compote, etc.
