I don't recommend it, the tip spreads when squeezing, so the pliers don't hold the end of anything, you have to catch e.g. fish bones in the bend to pull them out.

The materials used are ok but unfortunately the use of the egg popper when the egg popper is standing on the worktop and you press the egg into the popper causes the egg to break with too much resistance of the device or spring travel.
