It is very quick to grate the garlic, so far I have not grated anything else, but a thin slice remains, which I put into the dish anyway and it is important to place the whole :-)

Nice grater, two sizes. Larger than I thought it would be. Recommended.

I've been rallying to buy one for a year and it's been a hit, shredding cheese for cottage cheese, potatoes for mash or avocado for guacamole - poetry, shreds mixes and easy to clean

I thought they were made of stainless steel and this is probably aluminium so better not to wash in the dishwasher, sharp grater teeth
