Main features:

• The Eau Carafe is equipped with a carbon filter, which absorbs impurities but lets valuable minerals through and guarantees the correct pH of the water.
• It has a capacity of 1.1 litres and fits through the fridge door.
• It has been fitted with a sealed stopper.
• It has a handy shape.

How to use:

• It is designed for cool tap water without additives (just pour it in and leave it in the carafe for an hour - after which time it is ready to drink).
• With the filter removed, the carafe is also great for serving other cold drinks such as juice, mint water, iced tea or wine.

Materials used:

• The carafe was made of blown borosilicate glass.
• The stopper was created from cork and silicone.

Good to know!

• The carafe without stopper can be washed in the dishwasher.
• The Binchōtan white carbon filter can be used for up to 6 months (when filling the carafe once a day).
• The filter should not be cleaned, simply remove it from the vessel before washing.
• The carbon particles visible in the water are not toxic - such water is successfully drinkable.
• The filter can be used as an odour/moisture absorber or plant fertiliser after 6 months.
