• With each burning, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface of the candle. This prevents "tunneling" (crater formation) and ensures a long, even burn.
• During the first use, allow the top layer of wax to melt completely – for an 8 cm candle, this takes about 3 hours; for 10 cm, 3 to 4 hours; for 16 cm, 5 to 6 hours; and for 24 cm and 35 cm, 8 to 10 hours.
