Brimming with Christmas magic, the Mongolfiera Reale decoration from the FaberJorì collection is an ornament designed by Marcello Jorì after the famous Fabergé eggs. The Christmas decoration, in the form of a richly decorated royal balloon floating towards the skies, made of hand-decorated enamelled porcelain, will be an extraordinary Christmas tree decoration as well as a sophisticated centrepiece for a reed.
In the porcelain decorations of the FaberJorì collection, their creator Marcello Jori evokes the spirit of history, inspired by the famous jewellery eggs by Peter Carl Fabergé. Designer and jeweller at the court of the last Russian tsars, between 1885 and 1917, Fabergé created a unique series of nobly decorated eggs made of the most precious materials and bullion, commissioned by the tsars, which the rulers gave to their guests and friends. Decorations by A di Alessi recall this distant past, celebrating high-end craftsmanship and placing the accent on abundant decoration and the finest decorative details.
