Consisting of four containers and a saucer, the spice set was designed in 1978 by Ettore Sottsassa. The 5070 set is considered one of the icons of world design and, as a museum piece, is included in the collections of many institutions presenting the most outstanding designs in the history of design.
The set is characterised by the use of semicircular shapes, which are present in the caps of the individual containers, the handle of the tray, and the shape of the dishes themselves. The use of polished stainless steel and glass allows the contents of the containers to be perfectly displayed.
Olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper will look dignified in this simple yet very elegant set.
