Scanpan IQ Wok

The Scanpan brand is a well-known and respected Danish manufacturer of pots, pans and other kitchen accessories, whose unique features ensure the satisfaction of both professional and home cooks around the world. The IQ pots and pans collection, like the manufacturer's other cookware, is made from hand-cast aluminium (obtained from 100% recycled material), coated with a ceramic-titanium coating. The resulting surface, ten times harder than steel, allows the use of metal cooking utensils - spatulas, forks, skewers, etc., without the risk of scratching the pan. The non-stick coating Green Tek (the first non-stick coating in the world which does not contain PFOA or PFOS compounds), which is safe for health, allows the food to be fried without the use of fat and prevents it from sticking to the surface. The lids of the cookware in this collection are made of tempered glass and have a silicone gasket and steam vents. The patented manufacturing process of the handles, made of Bakelite, is based on the handle stem, which is cast together with the cookware and guarantees their durability. The IQ collection cookware distributes heat evenly, which also makes it energy efficient. The bottom of the cookware in this collection has been adapted for induction cookers, as well as all other types of cookers. The cookware from the IQ series can be safely used in the oven at temperatures of up to 260°C. The cookware from this collection can also be washed in the dishwasher, but this is not recommended by the manufacturer. It is recommended to wash by hand with water and washing up liquid, immediately after use (the easiest and fastest way to clean the brand's products when they are still warm). After washing, the dishes should be dried thoroughly. The cookware in the IQ collection is made in Denmark and comes with a ten-year manufacturer's guarantee.
