Alessi spoons are actually small pieces of art. You can collect them for their appearance, and that they can still be practically used to serve coffee - full of happiness :) It's great that they released a set of different ones. A great gift idea - no one will resist them!

Part of the 'Il caffe/te Alessi' series, the objects were designed by world-class architects. The idea of combining the worlds of architecture and industrial design was nothing new to the Italian 'dream factory', with previous projects such as 'Tea and Coffee Piazza' in 1979 and 'Tea and Coffee Towers'(2003) involving architects in the creation of everyday objects. However, in the case of 'Il caffe/te Alessi', for the first time the resulting designs were to be put into production and made for a mass audience rather than museums or collectors. Thus, a unique collection was created by the architects involved in the earlier 'Tea and Coffee Towers' project. The multitude of unique concepts and the distinctiveness of the styles that run through the objects in the 'Il cafe/te Alessi' collection ensure that everyone will find something close to the heart and appealing to the eye.
