Thank you for the gift, it will certainly have many uses, it is beautifully made and my wife has been very pleased with her seagrass baskets for a long time.Looking at this basket I am reminded of a historical event described in the Bible in Exodus chapter 2 verse 3 and I quote '"But she could not hide him any longer, so she took a basket of papyrus, coated it with asphalt and tar and put the child in it and placed it among the reeds on the bank of the Nile".The daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt found little Moses in the basket.
