Dune Tray

The Dune tray by the renowned Italian brand Kartell is an object that serves not only to carry objects but, above all, to evoke emotions and unique aesthetic sensations. The tray presented here owes this additional functionality to the inner grooves of the material from which it is made. The transparent material shimmers depending on the intensity of the light, creating a unique three-dimensional illusion on the surface of the glasses or cups placed on the tray. The pronounced grooves are reminiscent of flames of fire, sea waves, lava tongues or desert sands - all in one of the many available colours, the shades of which, being the colours of the rainbow, also allude to the colours of nature.
