Product description

Description

Mini Girotondo is a series based on the motif-icon that for many years became the hallmark of the Italian 'Dream Factory' - Alessi. In Mini Girotondo, the distinctive 'human', with a design taken from pictograms, has been reduced in size and placed on objects designed with the contemporary consumer in mind. Created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the collection's debut, the new edition of Girotondo loses none of the character of the original proposal, remaining a series of still relevant, attractive pieces of home décor.
The Tray presented here is perfect for serving individual pieces of tableware - such as a cup of coffee or tea accompanied by a small snack. It is therefore the perfect choice for aesthetes who like to give themselves a little pleasure on a lazy afternoon. Made of steel, the tray has a slightly tilted edge on which the collection's characteristic motif has been carved. The elegance of the polished stainless steel ensures that porcelain tableware will look great on the surface - preferably in a simple, modern style.

More about this product

King-Kong King-Kong Production is a design studio founded in the mid-1980s by architects Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini. They introduced motifs taken from cartoons into the world of design and used often simplified, schematic forms corresponding to the light convention of animated films. The designs of the King-Kong studio had a major influence on design in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The Girotondo collection created for the Italian 'Dream Factory', Alessi, became particularly recognisable.
