Strange, unusual, surprising, confusing, original, and shocking - there are many words for these products, and all of them are equally apt. Big brands and designers love to wink at us sometimes, to think outside the box and go a bit wild. And we embrace it with open arms and a joyful heart!
We adore products that play tricks on our senses. We think they’re one thing, only to discover they’re something else entirely. Just like the Bistro eggs from Kids Concept. A controversial idea, giving toddlers a container full of eggs? Perhaps, if it weren’t for the fact that the eggs are... wooden.

The Seletti brand is one of our absolute favourites. When it comes to the concentration of abstract products per square inch, it truly leaves all others standing. From small items like gravestone-shaped soaps, through rugs with surreal hands, all the way to a hot dog-shaped sofa. A Nobel for anyone who can find one mundane item in the Seletti brand. We certainly can't.
Who among us didn't dream as a child of sleeping on fragrant hay? Apparently, dreams are meant to be fulfilled, so the Foonka brand decided to make it happen! Now you can sleep on hay, or even on moss, in your own comfortable bedroom, and you’re guaranteed that no ladybird will crawl into your ear!

Who said poufs only have to look like far-eastern round cushions straight out of Turkish tea houses? The world has moved on, and so have cushions! Surprising shapes, patterns and constructions - that’s what we love at FormAdore.
Designers are outdoing themselves with lamp designs. Now it’s no longer enough for a lamp to provide good, cosy light. A lamp must delight and draw the eye, so much so that light bulbs are practically fighting... among themselves to live in it. Here are some of our favourite designs.
It might seem that broken porcelain is only good for being packed away in a box. But what if we WANT our mugs and plates to look as if they've had a head-on collision with the floor? Exactly! Kintsugi is a Japanese philosophy of repairing and carefully attending to what is fragile and everyday. The name comes from an ancient technique of repairing cracks with gold. And designers around the world are racing to create products that pay homage to this philosophy. At FormAdore, we also like to ponder over objects that deserve it, so Kintsugi has graced our thresholds.
Everyday items are so often before our eyes that it’s worth them making us happy. Salt and pepper shakers, mirrors, handles, bedspreads, cushions shouldn't be an eyesore! That's why at FormAdore, we focus on what's beautiful and a bit tongue-in-cheek.
Sometimes it's not the look that surprises, but the material! This is the case with this absolutely unique, ecological, and waterproof notebook, which is made from... stone. Yes, that's right - not a single tree was harmed in the production of Karst notebooks. Waste stone generated by the mining and construction industry was used in its production, which was then crushed and combined with resin. The carbon footprint was reduced by 2/3 during production, and part of the profits are allocated to planting new trees. Is it possible? Yes, it is. And what's more, it's essential!

When some people hear the word 'bubble', they fondly think of their little ones at nursery, while others lovingly scroll through photos of their dog on their smartphone. We don't judge; we've got something cool for every 'bubble'!
Candlesticks are not so much essential as highly desirable if you're looking to create atmosphere in your home. That's why we've made sure there's plenty to choose from. Some of the shapes and colours even surprised us (in a good way, of course, otherwise we wouldn't recommend them).
