Pastry Forks
As we know, not everyone likes onions, but everyone likes cake, and cake has layers. What does this mean for you? If you're on a diet, probably nothing, but if you're just getting ready to munch on a big slice of cake, the layers are key information for you.... because you know straight away that you need a cake fork!
Cake forks, otherwise known as dessert forks, are used to eat desserts with a firm texture, such as layer cakes without a lot of cream, cheesecakes or cupcakes. When eating cakes such as napoleonka, you should theoretically use a dessert spoon for the cream and a fork for the top (which makes no sense, because why separate a perfect duo this way?). Forks will also work well for fruit and starters, for which a dessert knife is often also served.
