The product presented here is a Weck rubber seal for Weck jars, which will wonderfully store and display your preserves, sauces and jams. The gasket is made of high-quality plastic (free of toxic rubber substances) and has a diameter to match the jar, is placed on the lid and closes the filled j ar using stainless steel clips (clips available for purchase separately!). The jar is then pasteurised using the chosen pasteurisation method. Please note, however, that too high a temperature or too rapid heating of the jar's contents may cause the seal to dislodge or part of the product to get between the seal and the lid. After the jars have cooled down completely, remove the clips and put the jar on the shelf in the pantry, where it awaits its moment - this delicious moment :)
NOTE! The diameter placed next to the product name indicates the diameter of the Weck jar, for which the seal fits. Jar clips to be purchased separately.
