The large, bulbous Weck jar shown here is available in two sizes - with generous capacities of 1750 and 2700 ml and a lid diameter of 10 cm, making this vessel ideal for fruits and vegetables such as cucumbers, pears, peaches or plums. The jars can withstand repeated pasteurisation, washing and sterilisation. Most importantly, however, homemade pickled vegetables or fruit purees look exceptionally appetising in them. Homemade preserves closed in aesthetically pleasing jars will also make a beautiful gift for family and friends.
