The cutlery from the Rundes Modell collection was originally designed for the Cabaret Fledermaus in Vienna and was produced by Wiener Werstaette. This cutlery is certainly also one of the designs that left its mark among the kitchen accessories created in the 20th century. Created in 1906 and introduced to the Alessi range in 2000, they return to the catalogue in 2015 at the request of chef Alain Ducasse, who renovated his Louis XV restaurant in Monaco. The unusual round shape of the spoons, the original shape of the forks and knives means that Rundes Modell cutlery will become the main accent of the dining room setting. The cutlery is available in both a modernised and originally designed form.
The spoon shown here from the collection is a tablespoon measuring 21.5 cm in length.
