Max Benjamin is a brand run by two brothers, Mark and David Van den Bergh. Its name comes from their nephews, Max and Ben, sons of Orla, who is also the company's founder.

Max Benjamin's offering has evolved over the years: from the original range of hand-poured Oberg pillar candles to a recognizable collection of 17 lines of luxurious scented candles made from natural wax and fragrance diffusers.

Every Max Benjamin candle is designed and handcrafted in their workshops in County Wicklow, Ireland. They are made using a blend of 100% pure natural waxes and Italian cotton wicks that are lead-free. To achieve their unique blend of aromas, only the highest quality essential oils are used.

The wax blend used in Max Benjamin candles is derived from natural resources. The process begins by blending soy wax with natural and eco-friendly waxes such as rapeseed, beeswax, and coconut. The resulting product is petroleum-free and biodegradable, making it a renewable and environmentally sound resource.
