We all adore unwinding and relaxing in our own bedroom. The lovely scent of a candle, soft pillows, a glass of wine in hand. Sounds divine, doesn't it? But instead of just dreaming and sighing, we can simply make this a reality, and we'd be thrilled to help you do just that!
MOODY LIGHTING
Arrange some atmospheric lighting. Without it, you’re simply missing a trick. Soft, gentle, warm light creates a sense of cosiness and an intimate atmosphere, so we encourage you to place several light sources in different spots around the bedroom, so you can dim and combine them as you wish. One strong light source might work better in rooms like the living room, kitchen or hallway, but in the bedroom, opt for small bedside lamps, wall lights, or beautifully scented romantic candles...
SENSUAL SCENTS
Scent can pamper the senses (oh, that jasmine in summer), or really stress you out (hmm... where’s that smell of a burnt pan coming from?!). But we’re only interested in fragrances that will be utterly delightful. If candles aren't your cup of tea, then it's worth considering a scent diffuser, which will discreetly and for a long time release a beautiful and original fragrance.
CLEAN AIR
In this age of omnipresent smog, it's worth getting a humidifier or air purifier to be able to breathe freely in the bedroom and ensure a peaceful sleep and proper oxygenation of the body.
If you're not sure which to choose, then read our magazine article "Which air purifier to choose?"
WINE OR TEA?
To round off the day nicely, it's worth having something warm or, well... senses-soothing before bed. One glass of wine or a mug of tea will help you wind down before sleep and relieve the tension from a busy day. Of course, it’s worth remembering that caffeine in tea has a stimulating effect, so we recommend a calming tea.
