The Divide model from the nendo design studio is a solution for those who appreciate unique combinations of simplicity and ingenuity. The traditional representation of time has been abandoned here. The hours on the dial face are indicated not by the numbers on the dial, but by a graphic depicting segments marked on straight lines, the number of which corresponds to the given hour. The seemingly austere form, however, is metaphorical in nature - the construction expresses the idea of time, which gradually flows through the 24-hour period. Subdued colours, minimalist design and a Japanese mechanism are characteristic of this design.
The Japanese brand Lemnos takes its name from the Greek island inhabited, according to Greek mythology, by the god Hephaestus - the protector of all craftsmen. Indeed, the brand's clocks are produced with the care and commitment typical of craftsmen who put not only their skills but also their hearts into their work. Lemnos clocks are additionally an example of beautiful and functional design.
