The Jellies Family collection, the result of Urquiola's collaboration with Kartell, is a perfect example of the combination of technological know-how with the fantasy and decorative character of her designs. The structure of the vessels in the collection (bowls, plates, platters, glasses, jugs and a vase) was inspired by old jelly moulds. The vessels are made of plastic technopolymer, and their texture is not only highly decorative - especially when combined with the delicate colours of the collection - but also pleasant to the touch and invites direct contact with the vessel.
