The Design Letters brand is a Danish company that, although a relatively young brand - established in 2009 - has already managed to win over design fans around the world. Key to its success has been the introduction of mugs and other crockery and accessories from Arne Jacobsen's Vintage ABC collection. The pieces in this collection were decorated with letter shapes hand-designed in 1937 by Arne Jacobsen himself - a legendary figure in world design and one of Denmark's most famous designers. The AJ collection also has a version for the youngest users of design, in which bone china has been replaced by safe and durable melamine.
The cutlery set from the AJ Kids line presented here, like all crockery and accessories from this series, is made of melamine and decorated with alphabet letters on the handles. The cutlery - knife, fork, spoon and spoon - is therefore perfect for everyday meals, as well as an accessory for learning the letters and ABC of design! The cutlery ranges in length from 12.2 cm to 17 cm.
