• With each burning, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface of the candle. This prevents “tunneling” (the formation of craters) and ensures a long, even burn.
• During first use, allow the top layer of wax to melt completely – for an 8 cm candle this takes about 3 hours, for 10 cm from 3 to 4 hours, for 16 cm from 5 to 6 hours, and for 24 cm and 35 cm from 8 to 10 hours.
• The approximate total burning time is: for an 8 cm candle - 30 hours, for 10 cm - 60 hours, for 16 cm - 150 hours, for 24 cm - 400 hours, and for 35 cm - 800 hours.
