How do we extract the essence of their shapes from objects? Danish designer Wiel Arets, designer of the eat.it collection presented here, whose design was inspired by the idea of symmetry, is a specialist in this field. Consequently, the shapes of the handles have been reproduced in the bowls of spoons, the blades of knives or the tines of forks, which have become their reflections, reminiscent of the mathematical symbol of infinity. Thanks to their symmetrical shapes, the cutlery from the eat.it collection not only looks beautiful and is easy to store, but also suggests a new way of setting the table by stacking cutlery on top of each other. In addition to standard cutlery, the eat.it collection made of high-quality stainless steel offers a selection of table centrepieces and speciality cutlery such as latte spoons, a spaghetti serving fork and a risotto spoon.
The spoon presented here is an attractive design for serving risotto.
