Product description
Description
The Ming platter is part of the "(Un)Forbidden City" collection, consisting of 8 products designed by the best architects of the Middle Kingdom. It has two faces, depending on the side chosen - one perfectly straight, the other more gently concave. The side with the straight surface works well for serving tea or sushi, while the reverse side can be used as a very elegant fruit platter. The subtle lines make the product very versatile and, while being a table art piece, it can remain in the shade as a mere base for other objects. With its geometric simplicity, the product harks back to the Ming dynasty, whose cultural influence is still evident in China.
