Best things come in small packages, right? I'm sure that's true. You just need good ideas for them.

A small bedroom is a big nut to crack. Its arrangement requires a good idea in terms of functionality, but also a great deal of creativity when it comes to aesthetic considerations (let's just skip the "after all, in a bedroom we usually have our eyes closed" argument). If you like to be surrounded by beauty, you certainly want every room in your house to look great - even a tiny bedroom.
Are you one of those people who are barely ever at home? That's no excuse either. Notice that when you get back home, you go straight to... well, to the bedroom!
One of the most effective ways to optically enlarge a bedroom is to use bright bedding with a three-dimensional pattern.
Small bedrooms = great opportunities
A small bedroom is a place where there's so much to do. And no, we don't mean it in the terms of the room space itself, which is limited, what can be said here, but its potential. In most cases, the arrangement of a small bedroom is 90% based on the appearance of the bed. Sometimes it is the only piece of furniture that fits into the room, especially when it comes to bedrooms in flats, which are really tiny.
There is a great potential in the bedding. There are plenty of patterns (or actually there are more than plenty of them in FormAdore) and most importantly, they can be changed much more often than the carpet, curtains or a wall colour.
A small bedroom in a flat, a house, maybe a yacht? No matter where, it's important that the arrangement can be beautiful anytime, anywhere.
How to choose bedding for a small bedroom?
The rule is simple and as old as the world - light colours optically enlarge the space, so you will "fool" your eyes most effectively if you choose white or gray bedding. But beware, black bedding, or another equally dark bedding, can be an interesting breakthrough in the arrangement of a small bedroom. However, in case of such colours you have to choose everything else in a light colour, i.e. walls, curtains, cabinet fronts...
The hit of small bedrooms - 3D bedding
The uniform colour of the bedding, especially if it is dark, can make the bed look like a compact, powerful "body", tightly filling the small bedroom space. Luckily, there is a clever method that allows you to add lightness and charm to the bed - we are talking about three-dimensional beddings.

Bedding in flowers. Let Mother Nature rock you to sleep...
The floral motif is one of the most popular bedding patterns. After all, who does not like flowers? Even if only in the form of a bedding pattern... Or maybe not "only"? More light means more space. If we were to carry out a metamorphosis of small bedrooms, the choice of lighting would be our step number two (right after the decision on the bedding). What kind of lamps will work in small rooms? Surely wall lamps, which are masters in space saving. But not only.

If you have enough space for a bedside table next to your bed - then put it there. In small bedrooms, an empty space next to the bed will make the room look "cold", as if it has not been fully furnished. And when you have a bedside table, then you also have a place for a night light! A small, standing source of light is another idea for lighting in a small bedroom.
What about a ceiling lamp?
In the small bedroom, as in any room, there's a place for a ceiling lamp. However, we advise against limiting the whole lighting arrangement to it. The bedroom is much more cosier when there is an additional light source placed near the head of the bed. Not to mention the fact that when lying in bed, it is much easier to turn off the lamp you have at hand than the one with the switch by the door :)

Ufff! We've already came up with a lot of ideas. Now it's time for pure pleasure, i.e. choosing beautiful accessories ♥ It's a content material for a separate magazine (or maybe a series of them), but now we'll focus on the basics.
Four walls, a ceiling and a bed - is there anything else to think about? Yes, there is! As we mentioned earlier, there is a huge potential in the small bedroom. You have to be very creative in order not to reduce it optically during the decoration process. Let's get to the point - let's move on to decorations which not only won't reduce the size of the bedroom, but will optically enlarge it. And, of course, they will beautify it!
Mirrors, mirrors, mirrors
It has been long known that a decent mirror will save even a microscopic room. A mirror emanates with space - so if you were to decide on just one addition to your small bedroom, let it be a mirror (it has to be a mirror from FormAdore, of course, other ones may not work ;)). The mirror will add depth, enlarge the room, decorate it, and of course - it will fulfill its original function, i.e. it will reflect.
Carpets
A traditional 120x170 cm rectangular carpet will not fit into a small bedroom. It is quite possible that no carpets will fit in... But what if you dream of a soft landing right after getting out of bed? After all, there is nothing more pleasant than a fluffy carpet under your bare feet. The ideal bedroom carpet is a fur or shaggy carpet with long, fluffy hair. Instead of a large rectangle carpet, choose a narrow one that fits between a wall and a bed, or a small round rug that won't overwhelm the interior.
Posters and pictures
Posters and pictures are a perfect solution for people who want to decorate their interior easily and quickly. For small bedrooms we recommend pictures with dominating bright colours or landscapes with clearly marked plans (it will increase the depth). But, but! If your whole bedroom is white - the bedding, the walls, the curtains - a picture vibrating with colours will also look great.
