Lyngby Vase black

Lyngby vases are already a famous product not only in Scandinavian design history, but also worldwide. They are the epitome of the minimalism for which Danish products are famous. The emphasis was placed on shape rather than decoration - in contrast to the fashion at the turn of the 20th century for lavish decoration and lots of ornamentation and detail. Nowadays, Lyngby vases, sparing in their decoration but expressive in their form, are again conquering the world, and their range is successively being supplemented with new colours and materials.
