Product description
Description
The Great Inventors platter is part of the Great Inventors collection designed by Kaja Kusztra, a graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, for the Kristoff brand. In this collection, which was awarded the must have award at the Łódź Design Festival 2013, the artist pays homage to timeless representatives of humanism by depicting their silhouettes through contemporary sketches. The series is based on the rich forms of the vessels of the popular Fryderyk service, present in the Wałbrzych porcelain factory continuously since 1936.
The plate presented here depicts the figure of Ada Lovelace - a British mathematician and poet, best known for her publications on Charles Babbage's mechanical computer, known as the analytical machine.
