Description
The Circus tea cup with saucer is part of the Circus collection designed by Marek Mielnicki, a Polish designer, graphic artist and illustrator for the Kristoff brand. The collection is based on the rich forms of the dishes of the popular Alaska service, which has been present in the Walbrzych porcelain factory for years. The decorations by Marek Mielnicki gave the collection a playful character, and the colours used - gold and blue - a timeless elegance. As the name suggests, the Circus collection refers in its decoration to a circus style, hence the characters and animals present on the walls of some of the dishes. The hand-painted Circus collection was awarded the "Must have" prize at the Łódź Design Festival 2012.

The cup is very nice, but I have doubts whether it is I species because of the scratched plate - unfortunately on the blue background you can see every scratch. Nearly 100 PLN including postage for 1 cup is definitely too much. It is not worth this price. I bought it as a test, considering buying a few more. Today I know that I will not do it.
