Nordlys Bowl

The Nordlys bowl by Danish brand Holmegaard, hides more secrets than you might expect. Firstly, it was made by hand. Secondly, it was made from melted down jars and thus, in line with the idea of upcycling, was given a higher value than the raw materials from which it was made had. Thirdly, thanks to the famous designer and glass artist Peter Svarrer, also known as the 'Master of Light', the bowl presented here reflects the unique beauty of the Nordic sky. In addition, the simplicity and functionality so characteristic of Danish design make this bowl suitable as a breakfast bowl, a serving dish for dips, snacks, cream soups and other appetisers. The Nordlys dinnerware is available in three colours - blue, green and white (the versions in white are actually milky in colour, without the blue colour drop visible in the photos).
The Holmegaard glass factory is an internationally renowned Danish brand that prides itself on the highest quality hand-blown glass products. Founded over 180 years ago by Countess Henrietta Danneskiold-Sams.
Maximum dishwasher safe temperature is 50-55°C.
