A ceramic frying pan is an all-purpose pan. You can fry anything on it and at the same time not worry about wearing it out quickly. Why? Because ceramic-coated pans are extremely durable and highly scratch-resistant. With them, you don't have to think about every move of the spatula! Another argument in favour of a ceramic pan is.... health. You can fry on this type of pan with little or no fat (see our fat-free pans). As if the advantages weren't enough, ceramic pans are non-stick pans - their surface is non-stick. No more scraping off unappetising burnt residue!
An interesting option are the mixtures used for the pan coatings, e.g. ceramic-titanium from Scanpan. The titanium additionally reinforces the surface of the pan, making it practically indestructible and suitable for frying a lot of steaks!
