T-Timepiece Tea brewer

The T-Timepiece tea brewer is another design from the Alessi brand's catalogue that resembles a jewel or precious jewellery in its shape. This time also literally! The teapot in the shape of an old pocket watch is the brainchild of the young Danish designer Titus Wybenga, who has given this now-forgotten object, or rather its form, once so prized and iconic, a new meaning and use. The steel basket/filter for loose tea with a mirror finish hangs on a delicate chain, to which it is attached by an eye-pleasing ball. The brewer can be used in combination with both mugs and tea pots, and we know from a confirmed source that the designer wouldn't mind carrying the brewer with him in his pocket.
