Shiba is the name of a set of pots and pans designed for Alessi by Naoto Fukusawa - Shiba is also the most popular dog breed in Japan, loyal and reliable. The pots and pans proposed by the Italian manufacturer are also characterised by this reliability and family character. Far from being a classic, bulky and space-consuming pot set, they are rather the essence of a cookware set reduced to the essential minimum and devoid of any additional elements. The set is made of multilayer material (AISI 430 stainless steel, aluminium, 18/10 stainless steel), accompanied by handles made of Bakelite or, characteristic of Japanese culinary tradition, wood. The cookware is robust, practical and characterised by a minimalist style, which can be felt both when using and admiring the objects in the collection.
